Accommodations

The salon is near full-beam, with double wide sliding entry doors from the aft deck and open passthrough to the galley forward.  Up a couple of steps is the Pilothouse, with excellent visibility from its comfy captain’s chair and settee with table that folds for maneuverability and coverts to a generous watch berth.  The few short steps to the flybridge are easily maneuverable.

 

The spacious master stateroom and ensuite head spans the beam below the pilothouse. The ensuite head has a separate shower stall with seat/shelf. Plenty of storage cabinets and hanging lockers line the cabin, and a vanity table provides desk or dressing space. Two portlights above the berth provide natural light to the space. The walk-around queen is to port with nightstands, cabinets and lights on either side. The combo washer/dryer is located in the master head.

Forward you’ll find the VIP stateroom with an island queen, under berth storage, and a large mirrored hanging locker to port. A private door to the guest head, which doubles as a day head, is to port. An overhead hatch provides natural lighting and air flow.
 

Salon

The near full beam salon is spacious and bright due to the large windows on both port and starboard and a large sliding glass door to the cockpit. The salon features two built-in chairs separated by a small table on the port side and a large built-in L-shaped settee to starboard, with storage beneath and hi-lo fold-out table.  A flat screen TV is tucked away in a cabinet forward, and window blinds port and starboard provide shade and privacy.  Two stools are included for hanging out with or helping the cook, or just seating for socializing.  Stairs to the pilothouse are forward to starboard in the salon.

 

Galley

The galley is located forward to port in the salon and features:

Raised Pilothouse

The large raised pilothouse on this motor yacht offers a great place to navigate and entertain. The L-shaped settee with folding hardwood table will comfortably seat 4 for dining, entertaining, or hanging out while underway. The hardwood flooring and large surrounding windows make the space bright and airy and provide great vision around the yacht. Tall sliding wing doors to both port and starboard allow quick access to the foredeck for line handling and anchoring.

Owner’s Stateroom

The spacious master stateroom with ensuite head spans the beam below the pilothouse. The walk-around queen berth is to port with nightstands, storage and lights on either side. Two portlights above the centered queen berth provide natural light to the space. A makeup table with more cabinets is forward in the space and the stateroom is carpeted with hardwood paneling throughout. The ensuite head is located on the starboard side of the space and features Corian counter top with molded sink, Vacuflush toilet, glass-enclosed shower stall with seat/shelf, generous storage cabinets, and an opening port over the sink. The Hampton 490’s laundry features a Splendide comb-o-matic 2000 washer/dryer built into the aft wall of the master head above the toilet.

VIP Stateroom

The island queen berth of the VIP stateroom is the centerpiece of this space. Two large overhead hatches provide natural light to the space, large under berth storage, cabinets surrounding the berth and a hanging locker provide ample storage for guests. A private door to the guest head is to port. The guest head features Corian counter tops and a molded sink with mirrored medicine cabinet, Vacuflush toilet and separate shower stall. A single portlight allows natural light and ventilation to the space.  The guest head has a second access door to hallway, allowing it to double as a conveniently accessible day head.

 

Flybridge

Stairs from the pilothouse lead to the flybridge, capped with a large Plexiglas door. Once on the flybridge you will be impressed with very spacious seating and great 360 degree views. The helm is forward to port with a large bench seat. A wet bar with molded sink, grill and ice maker are aft of the helm bench seat. A large L-Shaped seating area with triangular table is to starboard and will comfortably seat 8-10 people. Aft of the large bimini top that covers the social area is where the dinghy is cradled, with a stainless-steel ladder leading to the cockpit to aid in launching or quick descent for handling aft lines.

A convenient pull-out cabinet houses a helm control/docking station.  The lazarette provides access to the engine room and below deck storage. The cockpit also features stainless steel grab rails and rear transom access gate to the mounted swim platform.
